2018年1月，《International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer》（IF=3.458）刊发了我校地空学院蔡建超教授团队的研究论文——《分叉结构对流换热研究》(The convective heat transfer of branched structure)。

分叉网络普遍存在于自然界中，其独特属性使其成为一个跨领域研究热点。特别是它的传热传质特性，引起了科学和工程界的广泛关注，其高效的传输系统也激发了人们的设计灵感。

该文主要研究了一个基本分叉网络单元的对流换热特性，基于充分发展的管内层流对流换热模型，得到了分叉结构单元换热效率的理论表达式。结果表明：分叉结构的分叉比对换热效率的影响随分叉结构的主干直径而变化，在不同大小的分叉结构下，对称分叉并不总是最优结构。此外，换热效率还随整体压降、分叉结构主干直径和整体温差的增大而增大，随分叉结构长度的增加而减小。
